Campground OK, but far better the hotel The campground has a great view of lake Powell and is quite close to every attraction near the place. Antelope Canyon, the dam, horseshoe bend and city of Page no more than 20 minutes away, so you cant have a better location. On the other side, we went in august, the heat is awful, even at night the lowest temperature was about 85 F, and the campground has almost no shade. So I don’t recommend to go in the hottest months of summer.

The good thing is that you can use all the facilities if the resort and we spent some very refreshing hours in the pool or in the hotel lobby where you have free wifi and few restaurants and a starbucks coffee. Bathrooms on the campground every loop has its own restroom were not clean enough, once a day is not enough for a whole loop, and there is no free shower. They have pay per use showers 2 dollars each with quarters 15 minutes , laundry and free WIFI in the main building, and a general store too but was way expensive in my opinion 5 dollars for a bag of ice.

Campground was not so close from the lake, may be 1 km, and with F we didn’t give it a try. Is not close to the hotel in the car is close and the hotel has a lot more facilities too. I strongly recommend you to book an hotel room here, everything looked clean, nice and air conditioned. Fire pit, and picnic table included, in summer is too hot to use either of them.

Some would be considered “destinations”, while others are merely stopovers we’ve encountered en route. Our preferences are for places where the sites are spacious, the views interesting, the facilities clean and adequate, with friendly and professional management. We’re not particularly keen on urban locations, train or highway noise, or video arcades.
